Brake Bleeding / Proworks CheckValve

Description

Good brakes save lives - This tool from Proworks makes bleeding the brakes a breeze!
An automatic check valve ensures that no air bubbles can come back into the caliper. You no longer need to retighten the air screw or loosen.

Application:
1: Attach the hose to your caliper, shown with an arrow indicating the direction in which the liquid is flowing.

2: The hose needs to be filled with fluid before it can be used. This is filled into the tube by holding it vertically upright and away from the brake caliper open the air screw on the caliper and allow the liquid to flow through.
It is important that the fluid is introduced from above the return valve.
Always remember throughout to keep the pressure to the brake pedal, as long as the air screw is opened at the caliper.

3: As soon as the fluid has been filled into the caliper, the tube can be placed in an appropriate container. After that the caliper can be half a turn open the air valve.

4: Now you can begin to bleed the brakes. Whenever the brake pedal is pressed, the brake fluid will flow through the tool without the risk that any air flows back to the brake caliper.
Always remember to keep the level in the brake fluid reservoir in mind if this drops too low, you risk air getting in.

5: If the system is fully bled once (ie. there are is no more air bubbles but only good, clear, flowing brake fluid), you can close the vavles.

Last but not least, top up the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir to the proper level. - done!
