The precision-engineered sleeve, which is installed in your Venturi pipe of the throttle, reduces the diameter and increases the speed of air-fuel mixing. When you add the thinner butterfly valve and the lighter shaft, you get a faster, smoother gas response through the low- and mid-range registers.
For better gas response (90-100% open gas position), use the kit’s larger butterfly valve without the sleeve.
